WindPath Cape Cod Launches Sailing School

WindPath of Cape Cod is proud to announce that our Basic Keelboat Course taught by a US SAILING certified instructor is now underway. Students sail the 19 and 26 foot keelboats on beautiful Red Brook Harbor and Buzzards Bay, and enjoy first-class teaching facilities at Kingman Yacht Center, Cape Cod's largest full-service marina.

The 21 hour course, taught over three days, is broken up into two hours classroom and five on-water each day. 

 Our first session on June 26, 27 and 28 was a big success with one student writing, "...perfect student/instructor ratio, a pleasant classroom environment, the perfect wind conditions, and the perfect boats to practice on...our experience at the dock and on the water was fabulous..." - Anne Osterholm

Upcoming course dates are July 17, 18 and 19 and August 14, 15 and 16.  The fee for the course is $650/student.   At the present time we can accept a maximum of eight students per session.  The course is available for existing WindPath members company-wide at ½ price.  If a Basic Keelboat graduate goes on to join WindPath of Cape Cod in the fractional yachting program, the course fee is deducted from their initiation fee.  

Our mission is to instill confidence in the beginning keelboat sailor and sharpen the skills of the more experienced keelboat sailor.  We hope and expect all the graduates of our course, whether they are WindPath members or not, will continue to pursue sailing as a life-long activity.
