The prestige and joy of owning your own yacht is the dream of many, unfortunately for a majority of people, time and money seem to get in the way. WindPath’s Owner Member program allows you to stop wasting precious days waiting for the “right time” to purchase the boat of your dreams. WindPath will show you the path of least resistance to yacht ownership.

As authorized dealers for both Back Cove and Catalina Yachts our profesionals will guide you through the process of purchasing and outfitting your brand new boat. We work with you to determine the yacht and options that best suite your needs, no detail is overlooked. You then place your new yacht in WindPath’s professional management program and enjoy worry-free, expense-free boating in your local waterways. WindPath takes care of insurance, docking, storage, maintenance and operating expenses for three to five years. On top of this we give you a guaranteed monthly income, usually larger than the bank note.

WindPath will place seven well trained, responsible boaters to share time on your yacht in our membership program. Unlike other programs, the same seven people will always be assigned to your yacht, this generates a pride in ownership for them as well, and your yacht’s condition will reflect this. Our proprietary SailSoft® application is configured and put to work for you and the other Members sharing your boat.

You will have all the operational headaches associated with yacht ownership professionally handled:

• We find an available slip at a world class yachting facility
• We provide A+ rated insurance coverage
• We are responsible for scheduled and emergency maintenance
• We detail clean your yacht twice a month
• We decommission, store and commission your yacht each season
• Our proprietary software handles all aspects of scheduling and maintenance
• You enjoy sailing on your very own, brand new, luxury yacht

Participation in WindPath’s Owner Member program is in high demand and is limited to just a few yachts each year. Only brand new Back Coves and Catalina yachts in the 30 – 50 foot range, purchased through WindPath Yacht Sales, will be considered. One of our finance partners can help you obtain the financing that suits your needs. Yachts, unlike cars and homes, typically require a minimum 20% down payment.

Yacht ownership may be able to provide you substantial tax benefits. If you treat your yacht as a second home you can deduct the interest paid on the bank note. You may also be able to deduct the book depreciation on the yacht. Talk to a WindPath staff member or your accountant for details.

At the end of the term of the agreement you may decide to keep, sell, or trade-in your yacht for a new one and continue in the program. WindPath Owner Members enjoy the pride of yacht ownership without any of the worries that are associated with it.
